Xavier Ruben Sifuentez

Xavier Ruben “Taco” Sifuentez, 67, was called upon by our Heavenly Father on Thursday, January 18^th, 2024, in his home in Newton, KS.

 Ruben is survived by his sisters Victoria Carrion of Newton, KS; Ricki Valdez of Newton, KS; Mickie Kincade of Myrtle Beach, SC; Cecilia Sifuentez of Newton, KS; Julie White of Fallon, NV; and his brother Dario Sifuentez of Newton, KS. He is preceded in death by his parents Joe and Ramona Sifuentez of Newton, KS; and his sister Jessie Aranda of Newton, KS. He leaves behind countless nieces and nephews.

He was born in Newton, KS July 24^th, 1956. A graduate of Newton High School, he attended Fort Hays State University. He worked many different jobs in many different fields. He retired from Mid Kansas Moving, owned by his longtime friend Monty Walker.

Ruben was a social butterfly that loved to make people laugh. He was the life of the party. He dabbled in music a bit and was a popular drummer back in the 70’s with the band Riff Raff. He loved to dance and liked telling jokes. At one point or another, all of his friends and family had heard his nacho cheese joke.
