Warren Regier

Warren T. Regier, 50, of Goessel, died Monday (September 8, 2014) at the Wesley Medical Center in Wichita, Ks.

He was born on February 11, 1964 in Newton, the son of Maurice Lee and Helga Schaefer Regier. Warren attended the Berean Academy and graduated from Newton High School in 1982.
Through the years he had worked at Bunting Magnetics, Manufacturing Solutions and for the past four years was a fabricator at Moridge Manufacturing in Moundridge.

Warren married Doris Jean Hoelscher on June 15, 1991 in Newton. They have lived in Goessel for several years.

Warren was passionate about his family. He and his daughter Amber would take off for drives through the country roads, he loved spending time with his grandson, Noah, the apple of his eye. He enjoyed working on his cars and tractors and spending time with friends whether it was at Kanopolis Lake, riding four wheelers, working in the yard or watching Nascar.

Survivors include his wife Doris and grandson Noah both of the home in Goessel; his daughter Amber Regier of Hutchinson; his mother Helga Regier and sister Eileen Sutherland of North Newton; brother Myron Regier and his wife Stephanie of Goessel; sister Lisa Hultberg and husband Jay of Galva, Ks.; and his other grandchildren, whom he loved very much, Timmy Briscoe, MacKenzie Regier and Scottie Younger, II all of Hutchinson; along with the Hoelscher family and many other extended family members.

Warren is preceded in death by his father, Maurice on March 1, 2013.

Funeral services will be held at 1:30 P.M., Friday (September 12, 2014) at the St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Newton. Interment will be in St. Mary’s Cemetery in Newton.

Friends may call at the funeral home Thursday 1pm until 8pm, where the family will receive friends between 6 and 8.

A memorial has been established with the Noah Regier Educational Fund and the Arthritis Foundation, contributions may be sent to Broadway Colonial Funeral Home, 120 E. Broadway, Newton, Ks. 67114.
