Thelda Marie Sauceda

Thelda Marie Sauceda, 86, died Monday, (April 21, 2014) at the Halstead Health and Rehabilitation Center in Halstead, Ks.
She was born on November 28, 1927 in Trenton, Mo., the daughter of Byron and Chlotilla Jones Russell. Marie married Martin Peter Sauceda on March 3, 1959 in El Paso, Tx. He died on November 8, 1976.
Marie had been a C.N.A. for several years in nursing homes in the Newton area. She moved to the center in Halstead in 2010.
Survivors include her children Charles "Marty" Hallowell of Newton, Esther Dickens of Augusta, Ks., and Mary Brown of Maryetta, Ohio; three step-children; and several grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Mrs. Sauceda is preceded in death by her parents; husband; and siblings.
There will be no services.
Arrangements are by Broadway Colonial Funeral Home, Newton.
