Russell Hernandez, 90, died Wednesday, June 7, 2023 at St. Francis Hospital in Wichita, KS. He was born on September 4, 1932 in Newton, KS to Pedro and Maria (Regaldo)Hernandez. On February 6, 1976 he married Elvera Hernandez of Newton.
Russell is survived by his wife, Elvera Hernandez, two sons, Tony Hernandez of Topeka, KS and Paul Hernandez of Hutchinson, KS and three grandchildren Eric, Sharyah and Gabrielle. He was preceded in death by his parents and three brothers and eight sisters.
A private graveside service at St. Mary’s Cemetery will be Thursday, June 15, 2023 at 10:00 a.m.
