Rosemary Trumble

Rosemary M. Trumble, 72, died Monday (December 27, 2021) at NMC Health in Newton, Ks.

She was born on August 24, 1949 in Danville, Pennsylvania, the daughter of John E. and Dorothy C. Derk Peifer. Rosemary graduated from high school in Hershey, Pennsylvania in 1967.

For over 20 years she worked at the Hershey Chocolate Factory on the production line, making Hershey’s Kisses and Rollo’s along with many other candies.

Rosemary moved to Newton in July, 2000 where she married Lawrence G. Trumble, Jr. on August 11, 2000. Larry died on November 9, 2019.

She was a member of the Women of Today, the Ladies Auxillary of the Cooties through the V.F.W., and a life member of the Ladies Auxillary of the V.F.W.

Survivors include her daughter Rebecca Villadar of Newton, Ks.; son John Confer of Hershey, Penn.; sister Sandra Paul of Dalmatia, Penn.; seven grandchildren; and seven great grandchildren.

Private family inurnment will take place later of both Lawrence and Rosemary in the Ft. Indian Town Gap National Cemetery in Annville, Pennsylvania.

Arrangements are by Broadway Colonial Funeral Home, Newton, Ks.
