Ronald G. Schreiber, 77, died on June 2, 2018 in Peabody, Ks.
He was born on March 20, 1941 in Great Bend, Kansas, the son of Leslie Lee and Eunice Arlene Ream Schreiber. Ron’s father was killed in World War II. As a child he moved to Newton, graduating from Newton High School in 1959.
Ron had worked at Ream Upholstery in Newton and Boeing Aircraft.
Survivors include his three children, Kevin L. Schreiber of Bowling Green, Ky, Jamie L. Gordon of Trenton, Fla., and Amy Epp Enders of Wichita; one brother Jack Schreiber of Newton; eight grandchildren; and nine great grandchildren.
Ron is preceded in death by his father; mother Eunice Gaiser; step-fathers Harold Smith and Vernon Gaiser; and one great grandchild.
Memorial graveside services will be held at 3:00 P.M., Friday (September 14, 2018) at the Greenwood Cemetery Columbarium in Newton.
