Robert Weesner

Robert Ellsworth Weesner, 83, passed away at his home on August 29, 2026, surrounded by family.

He was born February 22, 1943 in Newton, Kansas to Oscar E. (Bob) and Rose (Hiebert) Weesner. He graduated from Newton High School in 1963 after attending Annelly and Candy country schools. On May 5, 1970, he married Linda Dean Corfman. She preceded him in death on April 22, 1992. He worked at McLain Elevator where many farmers appreciated his ability to keep the farm equipment they used in tip top condition.

Survivors include his fiancee, LaVada Fowler, sister, Barbara J. Walker, step-daughter Shirley Mathews, and many nieces, nephews, step grandchildren and step great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Graveside services will be held 10:30am Saturday September 12, 2026 at Whitewater Cemetery.
