Ralph McIver, 52, of Newton, died Saturday (Feb. 16, 2013) at his home.
He was born on July 25, 1960 in Hutchinson, Ks. He was raised in the Abbyville area. He moved to Newton in 1994.
Survivors include his mother Helen Cox of Hutchinson; brothers Jerry McIver of Brennan, Fla., and Everett McIver of Hutchinson; sisters Elizabeth Buie and husband Gene of Hutchinson, Kathy Alford of Coffeyville, Ks., and Edda Fay Collins of Abbyville; along with his many friends at ResCare in Newton.
He is preceded in death by his father, Edward Raymond McIver.
Graveside services will be held at 2:00 P.M., Wednesday (February 21, 2013) at the Abbyville Cemetery in Abbyville, Ks.
Friends may call at the funeral home Tuesday 1pm til 8pm where the family will receive friends between 6:30 and 7:30, friends will also be able to call at the funeral home Wednesday 8am til 11am.
