In loving memory of Orlando Alejo González, 51, passed away surrounded by the love of his family. He was born on October 18, 1974, to Felipe Alejo and Graciala Gonzalez. Location of birth: Guadalajara Mexico. He attended from 1989-1990 at preparatoria Lázaro Cárdenas. Attended college at bacheares in Mexico from 1991-1993 and received his diploma. Orlando was a cop in 1999, yurecuaro México. Worked in the fields for several years from a young age. He was a brother to Xóchitl Alejo and Guichel Alejo. Orlando cherished his family and friends. He and Emma were married on April 10, 1999.
He loved his children Felipe, Joan, and Melanie and as well as all his pets Brisa, Paloma, Nick, Tommy and Akira. Orlando was very excited to walk his daughter Melanie to the altar on the most special day, her wedding this month. But god had other plans which he now rests in peace with no pain. Orlando loved spending time with friends and family which brought him lots of peace in his life.
He is survived by his wife Emma; sons Joan & Felipe, daughter Melanie also extended family. His sisters Xóchitl & Guichel, his mother Graciala and son in law Jonatan López.
A visitation will be held on Friday, October 9, 2026, at 5:00 p.m. at Our lady of Guadalupe 421 S Ash Street, Newton Kansas, 67114. The Holy Rosary will be recited Sunday October 9, 2026 at 7:00pm. at the church. A Mass of Christian Burial will be on October 10, 2026 at 10:30 a.m. at Our Lady of Guadalupe. Burial will follow at St. Mary Catholic Cemetery in Newton, Kansas.
En cariñosa memoria de Orlando Alejo González, de 51 años, quien falleció rodeado del amor de su familia. Nació el 18 de octubre de 1974, hijo de Felipe Alejo y Graciala González, en Guadalajara, México. Cursó estudios en la preparatoria Lázaro Cárdenas entre 1989 y 1990, y completó su bachillerato en México entre 1991 y 1993, obteniendo su diploma. Orlando trabajó como policía en Yurécuaro, México, en 1999, y también laboró en el campo durante varios años desde su juventud. Era hermano de Xóchitl Alejo y Guichel Alejo. Orlando valoraba profundamente a su familia y amigos. Contrajo matrimonio con Emma el 10 de abril de 1999.
Amaba a sus hijos —Felipe, Joan y Melanie— así como a sus mascotas: Brisa, Paloma, Nick, Tommy y Akira. Orlando estaba muy ilusionado por acompañar a su hija Melanie al altar en el día más especial: su boda, que se celebraría este mes. Sin embargo, Dios tenía otros planes; ahora descansa en paz, libre de dolor. A Orlando le encantaba pasar tiempo con amigos y familiares, algo que le brindaba mucha paz en su vida.
Le sobreviven su esposa Emma; sus hijos Joan, Felipe y Melanie; sus hermanas Xóchitl y Guichel; su madre Graciala; su yerno Jonatan López.
El velorio se llevará a cabo el viernes 9 de octubre de 2026 a las 5:00 p. m. en la iglesia Our Lady of Guadalupe (421 S Ash Street, Newton, Kansas, 67114). El Santo Rosario se rezará el domingo 9 de octubre de 2026 a las 7:00 p. m. en la misma iglesia. La Misa de Exequias se celebrará el 10 de octubre de 2026 a las 10:30 a. m. en Our Lady of Guadalupe, seguida del sepelio en el cementerio católico St. Mary en Newton, Kansas.
