Minne Martha Meney

Minnie “Martha” Meney, 93, died, Sunday, January 26, 2014 at the Kansas Christian Home, Newton, Kansas.
She was born on August 27, 1920 in Pretty Prairie, Kansas, the daughter of Henry and Anna (Schrag) Ratzlaff.
Martha was a Missionary to India and Kenya for 37 years.
She married Benjamin F. Meney, on January 24, 1998. He precedes her in death.
It was after she married, that Martha resided in Kentucky for 10 years, before she relocated to Newton, Kansas.
After her retirement from the Mission, she taught at the Emmanuel Bible Camp in Kentucky and also taught weekday Bible School in Kentucky and in Newton, Kansas.
Martha had been attending the Newton Bible Church, Newton, Kansas.
Preceding her in death were her parents, her spouse; brothers, Arnold, Irvin and Harry; sisters, Wilma Wahlstedt and Esther Harms.
Survivors include step sons, Benjamin Meney Jr., George Meney and Tim Meney; step daughters, Martha Jean Heineman and Priscilla Meney; many loving nieces, nephews, and step grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, January 29, 2014 from 1:00 P.M.-8:00 P.M. at the funeral home. The family will be greeting from 6:00 P.M.-7:30P.M.
Graveside Services will be at 3:00 P.M. on Thursday, January 30, 2014 at the …….Cemetery, Newton, Kansas.
Memorial Services will follow at 4:00 P.M. at the Newton Bible Church in Newton, Kansas. Pastor Matt Kruse will be presiding.
Memorials may be made to Christar or Emmanuel Bible Camp in care of the funeral home at, 120 E Broadway, Newton, Kansas, 67114.
