Michael Clint Wade

Michael Clint Wade, age 66, passed away on January 16, 2024 at Kansas Medical Center in Andover, Kansas. He was born March 11, 1957 the son of Jerry Lee and Sharyn (Van Beber) Wade in El Dorado, Kansas.

Michael worked for Ringling Bros. and Barnum and Bailey Circus, caring for the animals, his favorite being the tigers. He traveled all over the country with the circus, and was very proud of that job. Michael loved sports and sporting events, and the traveling allowed him to go to all kinds of sporting events, in lots of different places. He himself participated in the Special Olympics, winning numerous medals.

Michael is survived by his step-father, Ronald Werner; brother, Jeff Nightengale, wife Joan and children, Jessica Cleveland (Samuel Agotia), Julia Nightengale, Jenna Nightengale; brother, Darrin Werner and children, Jessica Werner, Garrett Werner, Tanner Werner; and numerous great nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Jerry and Sharyn.

The family will be having a Graveside Memorial Service, Monday, January 29, 2024 at Restlawn Garden of Memories on Hwy 50, west of Newton at 11:00 a.m.
