Maxine E. Rossiter, 87 passed away Sunday, July 20, 2008 at Kansas Christian Home.
She was born to Joseph and Isabele (Franklin) Sears, May 28, 1921 in Newton, Kansas.
She married Guy Rossiter in Newton, Kansas. He preceded her in death October 1, 2004. Maxine loved to travel, with some fond memories of such places as Alaska.
She was loved and will be missed by her many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Guy Rossiter, brothers Joe V. Sears Jr, John F. Sears Sr. and a sister Virginia Sears.
Visitation will be held at Broadway Colonial Funeral Home from 12:00 P.M. till 8:00 P.M., Wednesday, July 23, 2008 with the family present to greet friends from 5:00 P.M. to 6:00 P.M.
Services will be conducted at Broadway Colonial Funeral Chapel, Thursday, July 24, 2008 at 2:00 P.M., with Chaplain Denny Bell presiding.
Burial will take place afterwards at Greenwood Cemetery.
Memorial donations may be made to Kansas Christian Home in care of the funeral home.
