Juanita Juarez(Moralez) passed away June 16 2026 in Wichita, Kansas. A daughter, sister, aunt, wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, friend. Born May 16, 1924 to Cresencio and Refugia (Jimenez) Moralez Newton, Kansas.
A life full of many experiences, beginning with living in the area known as El Ranchito a very close-knit neighborhood with many families building a better life. Education was achieved up to the 7th grade. Learning at a very young age to be financially responsible from cashing family paychecks to paying the monthly bills for the family. Jobs held outside the home were house cleaning at then Axtell Hospital, Rosie the Riveter at Santa Fe Rail Mill during WWII. House cleaning dept. at Kansas Christian Home where a group of ladies became a second family for her.
Joining Angel Jose in marriage in 1951 and raising a family, watching their children grow into strong educated individuals. Victorio, Olga, Julia, Eve. She helped raise many nephews and nieces plus adopted (neighbor) kids, this was her way of showing the love that connected us all. Grandchildren blessed her life starting in 1977 and then Great grandchildren in 1999. She gave so much love to each of her kids. The Good Lord has blessed her to see and feel his undying love and mercy.
Vaya con Dios, Dios te cuide, Recuerdo de donde vienes could be heard as we left her site to live our Lives. These words will forever be in our hearts.
She was preceded in death by her parents, siblings, Fidencio, Santiago, Elario, Jose, Victor, Reyes, Isabel, Emilia, Esperanza. Son, Jimmy , husband Angel, Daughter Eve as well as many family members and close friends.
Survived by Victorio and Elsa Juarez, Olga Lawson and Julia and Neil Llamas.
Rosary will be prayed at 10:00 a.m., Thursday, June 25, 2026 at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church. Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 10:30 a.m. Reverend Adam Keiter will be the celebrant.
Burial will follow mass at St. Mary’s Catholic Cemetery, Newton, Kansas.
Memorials are asked to be made to the Alter Society at Our Lady of Guadalupe.
