Iva M. Johnson, 76, of Newton died Wednesday (October 10, 2012) at the Kansas Christian Home in Newton.
She was born on September 14, 1926 and lived her entire life in the Newton area.
Iva was a member of the First Christian Church.
She is survived by a sister, Diane Balder of Bellevue, Washington; and sister-in-law Clara Johnson of Rapid City, S.D.
Iva is preceded in death by her mother Marie Sadler; father and step-mother Ivan and Connie Johnson; and brother Stanely Johnson.
Private inurnment will be held at the Greenwood Cemetery in Newton.
Arrangements are by Broadway Colonial Funeral Home, Newton.
