Florencio Toribio, Sr.

Florencio Toribio,Sr., 63, of Newton, died Sunday (December 21, 2014) at the Newton Medical Center.
He was born on July 14, 1951 in Loreto, Jalisco, Mexico. Florencio moved to Newton in the late 1980’s and has worked at the Norcraft Company in Newton for several years.
Survivors include his wife Maria G. Cabrera of Mexico; mother Guadalupe Santiago Echeverria of Yurecuaro, Mexico; sister Bertha Toribio Santiago of Loreto, Jalisco, Mexico; along with his children Maria Herrera of Santa Ana, Ca., Florencio Toribio, Jr. of Newton, Gilberto Toribio and Claudia P. Toribio both of Yurecuoro, Michoaan, Mexico, Maria A. Toribio and Salvador Toribio both of Newton, Fabiola G. Toribio of Mexico, and Gonzalo Toribio of Newton.
He is preceded in death by his father Salvador Toribio Barajas.
The casket will be open after 10:00 A.M., Friday (December 26, 2014) at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church in Newton.
Recitation of the Holy Rosary will be said at 7:00 P.M., Friday at the church.
The Mass of Christian Burial and interment will be held later in Yurecuaro, Michoacan, Mexico.
Arrangements are by Broadway Colonial Funeral Home, Newton, Ks.
