Evelyn Mildred Grace

Grace, Evelyn M. 83, passed away Tuesday, May 13, 2025, at her home in Augusta, Kansas. Preceded in death by her husband Richard C. Grace. Survivors: daughter, Robin Matthew-Siliceo, (CD Siliceo) sons; Eldon Grace, and Richard “Rick” Grace (Debbie Grace). Evelyn has 6 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren.

Evelyn was born in Everett, Washington and served as a United States Marine where she met and married the love of her life. Evelyn received a nursing degree and provided care in the nursing field and later in the insurance arena. She was also an avid world traveler. She had visited all 51 United States, and countless cruises to continents all over our world.

The family would like to express our greatest appreciation to Kay Reekie, who made most of those trips with our mother, and provided unwavering care and support when it was needed most to ensure her final days were spent in her own home on her own terms.

To help us celebrate Evelyn’s life, services are graveside at Greenwood Cemetery in Newton, Kansas on Friday, 23rd of May at 10:00 am.
