Busenitz, Eldrid James, age 63, died Monday, November 24, 2014 of cancer.
He was born in Newton to Karl and Anna Busenitz and remained a farmer in Newton until his death.
Eldrid married Faith (Schrag) Busenitz on February 12, 1977.
He is survived by his wife and sons Nathan (Melissa) and their daughter Olivia, Ben (Bethany), and Tim; and his siblings Roger (Patty), Annora (Charles) Goering, Loreta (Gerald) Seibel, Darlene, Ron (Brylene), and Gordon (Rachel). He is preceded in death by his parents and his brother Virgil.
There will be a funeral service at 2:00pm on Wednesday, November 26, 2014, at Koerner Heights Church, 320 N Meridian Rd, Newton.
Burial will follow at Greenwood Cemetery, Newton, KS 67114.
Services are coordinated through Broadway Colonial Funeral Home, 120 E Broadway, Newton.
