Dow "Red" Hartley, Jr.
August 21, 1934 — July 30, 2013
Dow (Red) Hartley Jr passed away Tuesday July 30th after an extended illness and fighting the “Big Fight” at the age of 78. He was born on August 21st 1934.
He was preceded in death by his loving wife Judy, Dow & Quida Hartley (Father and Mother) , Robert (Brother) and Billie & Helen Faye (Sisters).
He is survived by brothers, Tim (Wanda) and James (Paula); sons, DJ (Kathy) , Chris & Rusty (Unetta) and daughter Gwen Federspiel (Joe).
He cherished his grandsons, Travis and Joey Federspiel, Jesse Hartley and granddaughter Kristi Hartley and Great Grandsons Riley James (RJ) and Coby Dow (CD) Federspiel.
Dad was stern but fair, tough but not mean, honest and trustworthy, and a man of his word. He bestowed these traits upon his children and we hope to be able to do the same for ours.
We should have fished more.
Visitation will be held on Saturday August 3rd at 10:00am with Service at 11:00 in the Chapel at:
