Deila Lingenfelter, 60, of Newton, died Thursday (March 3, 2016) at the Harry Hynes Memorial Hospice of the St. Francis Regional Medical Center-Via Christi Campus in Wichita.
Funeral services will be held at 10:30 A.M., Wednesday (March 8, 2016) at the Broadway Colonial Funeral Home in Newton. Interment will be in the Old Mission Cemetery in Wichita.
Friends may call at the funeral home Tuesday 1pm until 8pm where the family will receive friends between 5pm and 7pm.
She was born on April 29, 1955 in Wichita, Ks., the daughter of Jesse Earl and Olive Ellen Wilson Lingenfelter.
Deila is survived by her children, Olivia Negrete and Ranthony Mason; brothers Floyd and Bruce Lingenfelter; sisters Bernies Pyree and Jennie Lathrop.
She is preceded in death by brothers Owen, Jesse Everette, Perry and Bobby Lingenfelter; and sisters Sharon Wedge and Myrna Lingenfelter.
Arrangements are by Broadway Colonial Funeral Home, Newton.
