Dean Boatwright

Dean Boatwright, 66 of Sedgwick KS passed away Thursday April 20th 2023 at St Francis Medical Center in Wichita KS.

He was born January 8th 1957 in Jacksonville FL, the son of Jerry and Naomi Boatwright. Dean was raise in Catawba SC and attended Rock Hill High.

He married Connie L. Lechner on June 16th 1986 in York South Carolina.

Dean grew up with 4 brothers and sister, in a milltown. He learned to work on cars from his father and it soon became his passion and career path.

Survivors include wife Connie at home, their children Lori Michelle Baker (Robert) of Rock Hill SC, son Dakota; Lisa (Ben) Dreier of Valley Center, and their children, Taylor (Landon), Cody (Ashton), Lori Grattan (Phillip) of Sedgwick, and their children, Riley (Lexi) Collin, and Cooper, Brandon (Becca) Madison, Haylei, Drake, Nichole, and Briana; great grandchildren, Emma, Jackson and Waylon; brother Jesse (Carol), and Alan (Teresa).

Countless nieces and nephews and extended family Rock Hill SC.

Dean was preceded in death by his parents Jerry and Naomi Boatwright, brother Jerry Lee and sister

Jane Smith.

Memorial services will be at Broadway Colonial Monday May 1 at 2:00 with graveside services following at Hillside Cemetery in Sedgwick.
