He was born on November 16, 1952 the son of Helen (Creglow) and Roy A Sump in Newton, Kansas.
David grew up in Newton and spent the majority of his lifetime here. He enjoyed traveling and spending time with family and friends.
His parents precede him in death.
Survivors include his brother Dale Sump, Newton, Aunt Violet Mitchell, Newton and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Funeral Services will be held on Monday, August 15 at 10:30 A.M. at the First Metropolitan Community Church of Kansas, 156 S. Kansas, Wichita, KS. Pastor Jackie Carter will be presiding.
A private family internment will be held at Greenwood Cemetery.
Broadway Colonial Funeral home is in charge of arrangements.
