Clifford Dale Wyss, 73, died on March 24, 2016 at Wesley Medical Center in Wichita, Kansas. He was born on January 21, 1943 to Martha Emmaline (Criger) and William Walter Wyss in Newton, Kansas.
Clifford graduated from Kansas State University with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration. He was employed as a CPA, then as a Comptroller for Youthville, and lastly as a business manager for the St. Francis Academy in Salina.
He was always active and loved being outdoors. Clifford enjoyed landscaping, fishing and working out.
Preceding him in death were his parents and a brother Darrell Wyss.
Survivors include two sons, Patrick Dale and his wife Kelly Anne Wyss, Champaign, Illinois, and Jeffrey Scott and wife Lynette Kay Wyss, Bellevue, NE; brother, Alan Wyss, Burns, KS; two sisters, Sharon L. and husband Dan Bellis, Wichita, KS and Loretta Jane and husband Don Patterson, Augusta, KS; 7 grandchildren, Parker, Kaitlyn, Lindsey, Meagan, Bethany, Brandon and Erin; and his beloved dog Tiger; cousins, nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, March 30th, 1PM to 8PM with the family greeting from 6PM-8PM at Broadway Colonial Funeral Home in Newton, KS.
Funeral Services will be held on Thursday, March 31st, at 3PM at the Ebenezer United Methodist Church in Burns, KS.
Burial will follow at the church cemetery.
Memorials may be made to the First United Methodist Church "Downtown Alive" program, Union Mission, or Ebenezer United Methodist Church in care of the funeral home.
