Carol Yvonne McBroom Poil, 87, died Friday (Dec. 15, 2017) at the Kidron Bethel Village in North Newton, Ks.
She was born on November 1, 1930 in Kalispell, Montana. Carol married Clarence Wilton Lininger in 1948, they had three daughters. Wilton died from cancer in 1958.
Carol later married Robert Poil in 1989. He died in 1999.
Survivors include two daughters Betty Lininger of Alhambra, Calif. and Catherine Arlene Lininger; sisters Sandra White of Herriman, Utah, Myrna Teskey of Columbia Falls, Maine, Floy Baker of Whitefish, Montana, Corey Stalcup of Everetta, Wash.; and one grandchild.
Carol is preceded in death by her father Clifford Ray McBroom; mother Floy Idella Howell Stalcup; daughter Norma Jean Carter; and brother Clayton Wayne McBroom.
Private family inurnment will take place at a later date in Kalispell, Montana.
Arrangements are by Broadway Colonial Funeral Home, Newton.
