Bobby Lee Partridge

June 15, 1945 — December 4, 2025

Newton, Kansas

With deep love and gratitude for his life, the family of Bobby Lee Partridge announces his peaceful passing on December 4, 2025, at his home in Newton, Kansas. Bobby left this world in the comfort of his own home, surrounded by the tender presence of his loving wife, Trudy, and their faithful dog, Charlie, who rarely left his side.

Born on June 15, 1945, Bobby was the cherished son of Russell R. Partridge (1932–1999) and Nellie Marie Partridge (Brenneman) (1925–2012). Raised in a home grounded in faith, family, and resilience, Bobby carried those values throughout his entire life. He now rejoins his parents and sister, Charlene O’Connor in the eternal peace and promise of God’s presence. He is survived by his brother Wayne R. Partridge.

A man of deep faith and a gentle spirit, Bobby considered his children his greatest earthly blessing. He leaves behind:

Christopher Michael Partridge and wife Josefina, Angela Michelle Gilbert and husband Collin, Matthew Todd Campbell and wife Tonya, and Lesli Susanne DeWyze and husband Bryan.

He guided his family with quiet wisdom, steady devotion, and the grace of a man who trusted God through every season of life.

Bobby’s legacy continues through his beloved grandchildren:

Gabriel Aria Ibrahim, Vivian Jane Gilbert, Abigail Ann Partridge, Madilyn Mae Partridge, Courtney Paige Calvo, Kaeli Dru Campbell, Cade William Campbell, Kyra Jaie Campbell, and Tyler Bryan DeWyze.

He was also blessed to meet and love his great-grandchild, Emilia Kay Calvo, whose smile, and goofiness always brought him laughter and love to his heart.

Bobby touched countless lives with his kindness, his humor, and his faith. He was a man who welcomed others with open arms, who offered help without hesitation, and who reminded those around him of God’s goodness through the way he lived. His love for Trudy, his family, and even his loyal dog Charlie was a reflection of the great love God poured into him.

The family takes comfort in knowing that Bobby has now been received into the arms of his Savior, and they rejoice in the promise that they will be reunited again one day.

A service will be held at Immanuel Baptist Church on Monday, December 29th, at 10:00 a.m. with Internment to follow at Winfield Veterans Cemetery at 2:00 – 3:00 p.m. where family and friends will gather to celebrate a life well lived and a faith well kept.
