Rebecca L. “Becky” Long, 71, died Sunday (July 8, 2012) at Wesley Medical Center.
She was born on January 6, 1941 in Newton, Ks., the daughter of Stan and Marie Bragg Humphrey. Becky graduated from Newton High School and W.S.U.
Becky married John W. Long on January 25, 1965 in Newton, they moved to Wichita that same year.
Survivors include her husband John; mother Marie Humphrey; brother Larry D. Humphrey all of Wichita.
Memorial services will be held at 11:00 A.M., Wednesday (July 11, 2012) at the Broadway Colonial Funeral Home in Newton. Private family interment will be in the Greenwood Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers a memorial has been established with Kansas Christian Home, 1035 S.E. 3rd, Newton, Ks. 67114.
There will be no visitation or viewing.
