Avalee Ruth Weeks, 71, died Sunday (August 7, 2016) at the Newton Presbyterian Manor.
Cremation has been effected. Private family services will take place at a later date.
Avalee was born on July 7, 1945 in Batavia, New York. She moved to Newton in the mid 90's.
Survivors include her sister, Margaret "Peg" Martin of Newton; and two brothers Dale and David Martin.
She is preceded in death by her parents Lyle and Tressa Roberta Oehser Martin.
Arrangements are by Broadway Colonial Funeral Home, Newton.
