Arturo Gloria Ponce, 42, died Wednesday (April 18, 2016) at the Via Christi Regional Medical Center-St. Francis Campus in Wichita.
He was born on September 4, 1973 in Juan Aldama, Zacatecas, Mexico.
He had worked as a butcher for Krehbiel Specialty Meats in McPherson for several years until becoming disabled.
Survivors include his daughter Jennifer Gutiererez; mother Maria de Jesus Gloria; father Andres Gloria; brothers Gustavo, Indalecia, Roberto, Jacobo, Eleanzar and Andres Gloria; and nephews Gustavo A., Daniel, Caleb J., Jeremias, and Cecilia I. Gloria.
Services will be held at 7:00 P.M., Saturday (April 23, 2016) at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses, 6007 East 29th in Wichita.
Graveside services and interment will be held at 3:30 P.M., Sunday (April 24, 2016) at the Mound Township Cemetery in Moundridge, Ks.
The casket will be open at the funeral home Friday 3:00pm til 7:00pm, Saturday 2:00pm til 5:00pm, and Sunday 10:00am til 3:00pm.
Arrangements are by Broadway Colonial Funeral Home, Newton.
